We booked a very last minute trip eager to catch some rays, sunbathe, fill ourselves up with all the all inclusive food and drink we could stomach and most importantly, relax!
Neither of us have been to Turkey before so thought it would be a good opportunity to try somewhere new. Our trip was rather short; four days and four nights and on an all inclusive basis, but the perfect amount for what we were after, and really didn't go too fast at all.
I for one drank far too many cocktails and loved just having the escape from the bustle and demands of everyday life, not that its all that bad, but you know what I mean!
Me and Alex spent most of our time on the seafront as the hotel featured the perfect backdrop to the med sea. Most evenings we would stroll down and take lots of pictures and would just find ourselves sitting on the jetty, not saying a word to each other and just taking in the beautiful surroundings. It was incredible how peaceful it was. Our hotel was full, but still you couldn't hear that in earshot.
I would love to visit the Marmaris area again and properly get out and do some exploring.
Have you ever been to Turkey? Any areas you would recommend visiting?
xo.
I love Turkey, its easily one of my favorite places to go for a beach holiday! If you are ever back I would seriously recommend Bodrum Castle and a trip to Dalyan. I wrote a holiday guide to Turkey a few months back if you're interested http://www.gracebee.co.uk/2015/05/grace-guide-to-turkey.html

I love Turkey! The area around Fethiye is absolutely beautiful and the beach/lagoon at Olu Deniz is stunning. It can be a little touristy, but don't let that put you off, it's well worth a visit.
