I was just about to upload another post when I came across these photos from my countryside retreat to Pembrokeshire, Wales at the Bluestone National Park.
I have two previous posts on my stay here called saying hello to nature and exploring the coastal town of Tenby, however, it was such a dreamy location I couldn't help but take lots of photos. Somehow, amongst all the hustle and bustle of moving, I forgot about uploading these in a planned third third post.
I guess its quite timely as I'm sitting here dreaming of my next countryside retreat. With the recent weather spurts we've been having and enjoying the warm sunshine far too much, I'm in serious need of another holiday!
I bet Bluestone National Park is a right corker in the summer; it will be flooded with guests and golden sunshine will be beaming onto the rolling hills of lush green, Pembrokeshire countryside.
Just while I'm on the topic, the pub within the Bluestone resort is worthy of a mention; 'The Knights Tafarn'.
They served us up with these wonderful fish and chips; the batter was so crispy and melt-in-the-mouth.. not forgetting the finishing touch; this warm sticky toffee pudding drizzled in sweet sauce, balanced with the cool vanilla icecream. Ahh, my mouth is watering thinking about this meal!
Where are you off to this summer? Any county-side retreats planned?
Or hoping to travel a little further a-field?
Fill me with jealously - I'd love to hear!
