White Kimono - Dorothy Perkins (similar linked)
Leopard Print Shoes - Primark
The biggest question I always ask myself before going away is;
What am I going to wear on holiday?
It's always my biggest predicament, wherever I'm going. Granted, I always overpack, then when I arrive, I'll suddenly be concerned about how little clothes I've brought away with me - in my eyes, you just can't win!
This red halter neck sundress from ASOS features an elasticated waist with a tie-back halter neck, so it hangs lovely and loose over my stomach and hips, sitting very complimentary against my figure.
Paired with my floaty, white kimono from Dorothy Perkins and bold leopard print open toe shoes and new beach shopper bag I was all set for a day lounging by the pool.
This shopper bag is ideal for a day at the beach or pool, because its the perfect size to throw in all my holiday essentials; beach towel, book, camera or phone (to take some holiday snaps), suncream, change of clothes etc.
We took some photos right by a pretty plant which ironically was sprouting some bold, red flowers, the same colour as my dress, (oh and unfortunately my legs!).
From the photos you'll have a tiny insight into the beautiful resort we stayed in - a village in fact, so all the accommodation was set on a hill overlooking the sea and onto Elounda Bay; different rooms were set across different levels and terrains (garden rooms, sea-view rooms, bungalows).
Everyday we wandered through different parts of the village, which were scattered with tropical palm trees and lush green gardens, when leisurely making our way to different areas of the hotel, i.e. the restaurants, the pool, the beach bar, the beach etc
I've had lots of questions about the Elounda Village Hotel on my Instagram - a full post on my stay at the resort will be coming soon.
What's your go-to clothing and accessories when your away for a beach break?
