Today I found a new blog photo spot!

What do you think?

I went outside and the wind immediately blew my fedora off and I knew I would have to retreat back inside. Think this spot in my parents kitchen works well for the time-being as it proves nice and bright!

I love my parents kitchen, to me it feels very rustic farmhouse with the oak-aged cabinets, old fashioned floral curtains and wooden chairs and tables. Its been the same since they moved in about 18 years ago. It baffles me why my parents want to rip it out and change it up all of a sudden, I guess for that reason - change. I personally think its adorable and has a quintessential country charm to it and personally would love a kitchen like this in my own house one day..

Speaking of which, last week we just had an offer accepted on a house which is very exciting and throws in some extremely positive amongst all the recent negative news. I won't say too much yet as we're still a long way off and don't want to jinx anything! If all does go through, I can't wait to dig into the realm of interior and home decor posts where I can share mine and Alex's first home with you all. eeeeeek! So watch this space :)

Just yesterday I got sent this cutesy school girl style mini skirt from Blue Vanilla. I was thrown a bit at first as to if I would suit this and how I would style it. However, I really enjoyed styling it up and decided it worked really well with my knee high riding boots, chunky topshop knit and contrast fedora. After all, that's what fashion is about - experimenting!

xo.
