Loose Tie-up Crop Top: Topshop (old)
Laura Ashley Floral Midi Skirt: Vintage Shop (£7)
Leather Tan Chelsea Boots: Barbour via Cloggs Footwear (*) (£118.99)

I had to share with you this thrifty vintage find I got my hands on when down in Portsmouth at Gunwharf Quays on the Easter Weekend. If you know Gunwharf, it really isn't a place to score a thrifty vintage bargain. But, Alex spotted a small hut-style shop that was labelled as Rowan's Hospice Vintage Shop, (I used to live above one of these in 3rd year at Uni in Portsmouth) not sure if its a temporary shop, but in there I found this Floral Midi Laura Ashley skirt for a mere £7!
With feeling sorry for myself recently and having made some dollar on Depop, I decided to treat myself to this beautiful tailored coat / jacket from Missguided in Camel, which I've seen a lot of other bloggers buying in lilac. It's the perfect style and light-weight quality for a spring-summer coat.
ALSO
Cloggs kindly sent me these gorgeous Tan, Leather Barbour Chelsea Boots (& yes they are real!!), their website is really easy to navigate, with super fast, free next day delivery if you order before 7pm, which is pretty coushy as I had scooped up these babies far sooner than I'd imagined.
I felt like a child at Christmas with the excitement of unwrapping the box and knowing I had some Barbour boots inside!
Even these Barbour boots here have had a whooping £35 knocked off them on the website. Being completely honest I wouldn't normally have the money to even consider a branded pair of boots, but having luckily received and tested these and having worn them out LOTS, I really do think I may have had a change of heart.
I can already feel so much more comfort and quality in these shoes, compared to any others I would normally grab at a ridiculous price i.e Primark (even when I'm completely aware they will probably fall apart within the month).
I think I tend to adopt this buying strategy far too often and am now thinking I will be much more inclined to save up and invest into a pair of shoes that I can still be kicking about in a couple of years from now. Still on my list of expensive footwear to get my hands on; a pair of Hunter Wellies & some Dr Martens :)!

I've been trying to keep spirits up this week and even managed to apply for two jobs.
Let's hope they don't discriminate against me and my broken arm & give me the sympathy vote!
xo.
