Dirty Martini, Bishopsgate Launch Party | rightupmystreet

This post is dedicated to the Media Launch Party I got invited to for the new Bishopsgate Dirty Martini that was opened end of September.

It was a fab night where I got to sample an array of the new fancy cocktails exclusive to the Bishopsgate bar and again the delectable canapes from their nibbles menu.

This Dirty Martini was a lot easier to find as it central to the city and directly opposite Liverpool Street Station, so it is in the perfect location for after work drinks or a stylish night out.

// This was so yummy! I'm sad because I can't remember the name of this cocktail. There are even skinny cocktails under 170 calories for the calorie-conscious cocktail consumer! //

// The New Bishopsgate Bar... I must say I much prefer the layout.. its a lot more spacious and open, I previously visited the Hanover Square bar which is very narrow and long so this was a nice contrast between the two as they both have their own individual quirky features, with its chic interiors and vivid artwork it creates a sleek venue to dance and drink the night away. //

/Here we have (from left to right) Pear and Rosemary Martini, Mischief Maker, Passionfruit Martini

The choice of cocktails was ample.. and was continuously flowing throughout the night. there wasn't really a time I looked around and didn't have 2 or 3 drinks waiting for me on the table! The 'Mischief Maker' is part of the launch of the new 'Dirty Design' cocktails and this is made up of fresh quality ingredients; Makers Mark and Peach Puree shook with fresh passion fruit, lime juice and fresh mint.

// Here is my gorgeous sister trying a 'Mischief Maker', she accompanied me to the media party (thank god - otherwise I would have known nobody) and we were sitting on the same table as Harry the really posh guy from the Junior Apprentice (ha) so I'm glad I had someone to sit with me around the magazine editors and journalists //

// Again, 'Mischief Makers', 'Passionfruit Martini's' and 'Pear and Rosemary Martini's'  //

// This cocktail was gorgeous and was very similar to a cocktail I tried in the Chinese Cocktail bar at the top of the Shard. I think it was called 'Tea Thyme' and visually I was amazed at how great it looked. If something can look ever so yummy on the outside it just tempts me even more! This cocktail featured; Absolut Tea Vodka, Yellow Chartreuse & Creme de Cerise built with fresh raspberries, fresh thyme & pomegranate juice //

// Again a close up of the gorgeous 'Tea Thyme' cocktail, you can see how easy on the eye and therefore very easy to guzzle these cocktails were (believe me I had enough of them).. you must try one! //

// This was by far my favorite cocktail from the menu... the 'Orange and Cinnamon Martini', it is ever so sweet and again very easy to drink (too easy in fact). I think I had about three, so surely that's a sign of how good they are? //

// The canapes are flowing, similarly to the ones in Hanover Square they had the mini hot dogs and burgers again which were gorgeous and the staff were all very friendly and accommodating offering canapes and cocktails at every moment //

// As well as the ridiculous amount of cocktails there was a bucket of wine and beers sitting on each reserved table. I attempted a glass of wine but seriously didn't even need it. I think it pretty much sent me over the edge (ha) //

// You can see how ram packed the event was, it really went down a hit //

// The 'Honey and Lavender Martini', the flavours really complimented each other! The use of various herbs is a unique twist Dirty Martini have introduced into their new menu //

// A preview of the menu so you can see some of the scrummy cocktails on offer if you are ever thinking of making a trip down to the new Bishopsgate Dirty Martini! //

I had such a great night and wanted to thank the team at Dirty Martini for a great evening with fab friendly service. I can't wait to make another visit so I can continue to try the rest of the menu.

Have you visited any of the Dirty Martini Bars?

xo.
