Right if your sitting here reading this blog post, you're probably in the same boat as me right? Not fortunate enough to go to London Fashion Week!
To be honest I do think there is a-lot of unnecessary hype around the week, but of course there is a part of me that would like to be so lucky to be invited along and experience and have that opportunity to see what all the fuss is about (maybe then I would change my mind?). Because I can honestly say, I have never been to a Fashion Show before and I do think it would be something to experience, to say the least. I've always been more of a high street buyer rather than someone who lusts over all things lavishly expensive and designer! I'm always on the look out for a bargain and never really accept much less! Wow - I do sound like a tight arse, ha but I value my earnings. But I guess it may be a completely different story if I had lots of money to spend, then maybe I would take more of an interest into that sort of priced range because it would be readily on offer to me.
The part of Fashion Week I definitely love the whole idea of is meeting lots of bloggers and networking throughout the day and looking out for my favourite fashion icons!

Anyway I've been sitting here stalking everyone who's at Fashion Week and eyeing up what people have chosen to wear (these sort of posts are dominating my twitter feed at the moment).
And I got thinking what would I have worn if I had gone along to Fashion Week? Bearing in mind, this was a completely spontaneous thought in the car while I was driving home today and this is the outfit I quickly planned in my head, (while trying to not get too distracted and concentrate on the road). I probably would have come up with something a bit more creative if I had ample planning time!
Well fingers crossed for next year where hopefully I may get the chance to pop along to one of the days and experience the Fashion Week madness and bask in all its glory!
Ps. These are actually some trousers from Sainsbury's that I bought for work, would that be completely outrageous wear for Fashion Week? Think I would be frowned upon!
What do you think? What would you have worn to Fashion Week?
xo.
I love this outfit! Those shoes are gorgeous! I wouldn't be able to cope with the pointy shoes haha x

I know thinking about it now, flats would probably be a more viable option especially while its raining. A girl can dream though hey :) xo
DeleteI think I'm in the same boat! Don't really understand the hype about fashion week but would still go along if asked. Lovely outfit btw

DeleteThis looks great! I'm definitely exactly the same as you, I envy anyone who has gone but I've never seen a Fashion Show before but I really would love to be in London during fashion week!! I love clothes but never really look at designer things (deffo out of my price range!!!) so I'd like to see what the designers have on offer

Thanks for the sweet comment on my blog :) in reply to your question about the moving photo - it's actually a set of three photos that were taken and I've made them into an animated gif in photoshop! Lovely outfit. I love the shirt, it's an interesting take on a classical check shirt with the draped style. Love how you've styled it.
