#OOTD: Oh what a wonderful day.

Maxi Dress - Topshop Sale £25 // Cropped Denim Shirt - Topshop £18 // Belt - Missguided £3.99 // Strappy Sandals - Primark (old)

I thought i'd share with you an outfit i put together this afternoon. I'm doing some temp work at the moment covering a reception desk & its ever so quiet.. i've spent the majority of my time reading.. which actually i don't mind, i really don't make enough time to read books in my spare time & this has given me the chance to seriously get on with some, i've just about finished the first Hunger Games book, its awesome btw! Anyway it hasn't helped that the sun has been pelting through my window everyday teasing me and its not as if i'm heavily distracted by my enormous workload. But one good thing is that i finish at 4, so i've still been able to catch the evening sun, which infact i swear seems to be the hottest part of the day at the moment?

As i have so much time to think at work, i was already anticipating my arrival home so i could get on with new outfit post that i had planned. Mostly consisting of a few steals i picked up from the recent Topshop sale. This maxi dress i fell in love with! May i just say, im gutted cause i recently just saw its been reduced again down to £15, gaaaah before anyone mentions it. Yes thats really annoying! Oh well, i just happened to pick this up in passing because it was really pretty and bold, i didn't really have an intention of buying it as i really don't have many occasions coming up, unless i could pull this off at my boyfriends graduation next week, but maybe its too full on for that... THOUGHTS?

Regardless! It was too pretty to put down so i just bought it anyway thinking i could dress it down and definitely wear to the beach or the park with the current sun we are having. I love anything with a gathered waist and the slits up the sides just add to its sexiness!

The cropped denim shirt was another item i spotted in the sale, however, this i had every intention of buying! I've been searching for some new demin pieces for a while and i love the fact this is a cropped length so perfect with anything of the high-waisted nature (my fav!) And at £18 i thought why the hell not.

P.s. These sandals are just the best, i've had them over 4 years, there are ridiculously comfy and obviously pretty darn good quality as they have endured many a holiday + outings.

Which brings me to finish with - Oh My, the new Primark's AW'13 collection, i'm rather excited about it, i've spotted lots of pretty shoes :)
Have you seen the new range?
